School Uniform
The wearing of school uniform has a very positive effect not only with regard to ethos but to standards of discipline and on children’s self-esteem. The co-operation of parents is greatly appreciated in this respect.
School uniform is available from McCalls of Lisburn.
Full school uniform should consist of:
Boys: Red school printed sweatshirt, mid grey trousers. White polo shirt and black shoes.
Girls: Red school printed sweatshirt, mid grey trousers or mid grey skirt. White polo shirt and black shoes.
Summer variation is red checked gingham dress or skirt.
School shoes: Plain black school shoes, practical in style with sensible heels.
Y1 uniform is:
Sweatshirt, polo shirt and either jogging bottoms or black/dark grey trousers or grey skirt (with elasticated waists) as they are easily managed by the wearer.
Footwear: Velcro or elasticated black shoes are best. A pair of black elasticated gym shoes in a cloth or strong plastic bag for keeping in school, are essential.
PE kit: For Year 4 upwards is red T-shirt and red knee socks and black shorts or black track suit bottoms. A change of foot-wear is essential. All to be kept in a bag and all items to be named.
Parents in receipt of limited income may be able to avail of a special provision for the award of free school meals and uniforms. For further information about this please contact the Education Authority.
