On Tuesday 4th October we were visited by the IFA as part of their promotion of the UEFA Women's Under 19 Championships to be held in Northern Ireland in August 2017. The children enjoyed their visit and received t-shirts and tickets for upcoming Women's international games.
At Seymour Hill Primary School we pride ourselves on the extended schools programme we offer to the pupils, parents and wider community.
Firstly we offer a varied after-school programme to our children across three terms.
Miss Campbell takes Running Club and Cycling Proficiency Club
Mrs Donnelly takes Cookery Club
Miss Douglas takes Science Club
Mrs McClurg takes Running Club and Aerobics Club
Mr Rainey takes Football and Chess Club
Mr Nimmon takes Computer and Tag Rugby Club
Miss Herbsion takes Netball and Qwik Cricket Club
Breakfast club operates each school morning from 8.00am to 8.45am. Children are welcome to come along and have breakfast with their friends where toast, cereal, milk and juice are provided for 60p!
After-School club operates each school day from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Children are invited to stay, complete their homework and take part in a range of activities. This programme has been put together and is facilitated by our classroom assistants. All for £2.00 per hour!

During this term Mrs Hendron has been taking a Dance Club as part of Extended Schools. The children recently put on a performance to their parents, teacher and the rest of the children.
