Year 6

Hi everyone and welcome to our class page.  We use this page to show off all the things that we can do!!

We visited Finaghy library.  We learned how to use a library, we became members and we got to borrow some brilliant books.  It was a great trip.

We took part in a lantern parade as part of the ceremony and celebrations at the Christmas lights switch on in Lisburn.  It was great fun!

We have been learning how to write instructions.  Instructions are procedural writing.  We wrote instructions for making ham and cheese sandwiches.  They were yummy!!

We went fishing at Angling First in Dromore with the PSNI.  It was the first time some of us had ever been fishing and we really enjoyed ourselves.

As part of our study into Remembrance Day we painted a Remembrance scene which included the Poppy symbol.  We think they turned out great!
